PUR 80/HD-75N is a two component PU based general to medium performance adhesive for a versatile range of FlexiblePackaging applications and is suitable for standard laminates as well as triplex laminates. This Adhesive shows good bond strength on Al Foil, PET-MPET, LLDPE, BOPP, MBOPP, CPP, MCPP etc.

    • Cross-linked adhesive is transparent and practically odorless.
    • Best suited for food packaging.
    • It has been developed keeping in mind the health of the operator and an overall comfortable working environment.
    • Recommended for hot filling application like ketchups & aggressive products like shampoos, alcohols, spices and other similar powder/granular products.
    • It eliminates speckling problem.
    • FlexiblePackaging applications and is suitable for standard laminates as well as triplex laminates.
    • This Adhesive shows good bond strength on Al Foil, PET-MPET, LLDPE, BOPP, MBOPP, CPP, MCPP etc.
    • During job change the coating roller and transfer rollers should be kept running so as to prevent adhesive from drying on the rollers
    • Laminates must be procesed, slit only after ensuring that it is fully cured
    • Pre treatment of films: All polyolefin films must be corona treated to 38-42 dynes prior to lamination to obtain a minimum required surface wettability level. Care must be taken to ensure that the treated surface is used for bonding
    • ADHESIVE STRENGTH/CURING TIME: Adhesive provides low initial tack. Laminates can be processed, slit after 24 hours of initial lamination. All necessary tests should be conducted before commercial production and supplies.
    • PAN/POT Life: The diluted mixed adhesive PUR 80+HD-75N with solids 30-35%, if stored in closed container has a pot life of about 6-12 hours without substantial viscosity increase. Over aged adhesives mixture as well as old adhesives in the glue pot could affect the quality of laminates adversely.
    • Food packaging Regulation Status: The constituents of these products are in accordance with "US Code of Federal Regulations" 21 CFR § 175.105 for food packaging materials.
    • Storage & Handling: Store in original air tight container at temperatures between 10-35C. Stir well before use. Rotate stocks on FIFObasis
    • Shelf life: 6 months from the date of packing
    • Packing: 200 kg drum
    • Caution: NeoBond PUE 80+HD-75N is non-toxic, non-hazardous and non-flammable under normal conditions of use. Splashes in the eyes or skin; spillage in workplace and on clothes should be immediately washed with plenty of water to avoid skin irritation. Proper ventilation should be provided in work area.
    • COATING WEIGHTS: A minimum of 2 - 6 gm/m2 of dry adhesive solids must be applied for good results. Higher coating weights may be necessary for special applications.
    • TEMPERATURE OF TUNNEL: Should be maintained between 70OC-90OC.
    • NIP ROLLER TEMPERATURE: Should be maintained between 50 OC  to 60 OC.
