    • Can be applied by hand or used directly in the gumming section of a plate processor
    • Good desensitizing properties, prevents oxidation of non-image area
    • Prevents dot gain during baking; optimum reproduction
    • For hand development: Apply to the developed (and deleted) plate with a clean sponge or cotton wool pad. Spread the solution evenly over the entire plate surface. Buff down to a thin, even film. Care should be taken to avoid contamination of “RC 510” from the sponge.
    • For processor development: Use the full-strength solution in the finishing/gumming section of the plate processor, following the instructions of the equipment manual. For best results, the solution should be maintained at a specific gravity between 1.038 to 1.046. Under normal circumstances, this will be achieved by replenishing RC510 diluted with water.
    • Storage & Handling : Protect from direct sunlight.Store at temperatures below 30° C in a dry, well-ventilated area. Keep the containers tightly closed. The use of gloves is recommended.
    • Shelf-life : 12 months from the date of manufacture
    • Packing : 5 litres.
    • Precautions : All gums tend to become thicker with time due to evaporation. Adding water will resolve this. Specific gravity of undiluted solution should be within the range of 1.038 to 1.046 at 20°C. If the gum becomes too thin, water may be dragged into the gumming station from the rinsing station.
