● Condition the media in the normal printing environment for 24 hours before printing.
● Print the media within the specified ink limit. Exceeding the ink limit can lead to longer drying time, bleeding and lower resolution. For best results, use colour calibration.
● Printed media should be thoroughly dried before rolling-up for transport to avoid ink smearing.
● Post-processing for hem is not required. If necessary, banner tape is preferred to sewing. Grommets should be placed through 2 layers in the hemline.
● Corner grommets should be placed where the vertical and horizontal hemlines meet, so that they pass through 4 layers of the media.
● Use a pair of cotton gloves to handle the media and protect it from sweat, grease & oil.

● This media is compatible with original inks of most UV & latex printers. Please consult the ink/printer manufacturer for technical advice if required.
● Pre-test the compatibility of the inks with the media before commencing actual production.

Durability of Media
● The durability of the printed image is dependent on the fading characteristics of the inks used.
● To protect the printed graphics from harsh atmosphere, scratching or friction we recommend using a UV stabilized, cold, pressure sensitive lamination film.
● Pre-test the compatibility of the lamination film with the printed media.
● Allow 8 hours of drying time of the print before lamination.
● For best performance and compatibility we strongly recommend using TechNova NovaSign range of overlamination films (available in matte & gloss finish).
