NovaJet Opaque Gloss PET 175 (OGF 4207)

For water based (dye) inkjet printing of frontlit banners

NovaJet PhotoGloss PET Film 175 (OGF 4207) is a polyester film, coated with a gloss-finish, ink-receptive layer for inkjet printing. It is suitable for indoor roll-up banners, X banners, posters and POP displays.

    • High opacity for limited show-through
    • High image definition and line clarity for better resolution and sharpness of images
    • Stiffer base resists curling and makes it ideal for indoor hanging banners and stand banners
    • Base : Polyester film
    • Thickness : 175 microns (± 5 microns)
    • Surface Finish : White glossy
    • Ink Compatibility : Water-based Dye Inks
    • Ink Limit : Up to 360% with Dye-based Inks
    • Shelf-Life : One year from the date of manufacturing when stored in original packing at 20-25°C and 50% RH.
    • Availability : 914 mm x 30 m; 1067 mm x 30 m; 1270 mm x 30 m & 1524 mm x 30 m. Also available in custom size rolls on request
    • It is recommended to condition the media in the normal printing environment for 24 hours before printing.
    • While printing, care must be taken to modify the print file to suit the ink limit of the media. For best results, please ensure proper colour calibration. For further assistance, please consult our Application Specialists or contact our HelpDesk.
    • The media should be printed on within the specified ink limit. Exceeding the ink limit can lead to longer drying time, bleeding, lower resolution and poor adhesion of the lamination film.
    • Printed media should only be protected by a cold, UV stabilised, pressure sensitive laminate. The lamination film must be checked for compatibility with the media. For increased stiffness & rigidity, laminate the front & back with the same lamination film. The prints should be thoroughly dried before lamination. Exposure to more than 40°C through a heat lamination process is not at all recommended.
    • Prints should be completely dried before rolling-up for transport to avoid ink smearing.
    • The inherent nature of the polyester calls for careful handling of the media to avoid fold and kink marks.
    • A fresh pair of cotton gloves should be used while handling the bare media to avoid sweat; grease and oil transfer on to the media that could interfere with the print quality.
    • When not in use, the media should be stored in its original packing.
