TechNova - FLAAR Alliance
TechNova brings to you the global expert on large-format-printing :
Dr. Nicholas Hellmuth
President of the FLAAR institute, as well as director of the Digital Imaging Technology Center at the Francisco Marroquin University.
The Alliance
TechNova Imaging Systems Limited and FLAAR have entered into an agreement to provide a comprehensive knowledge-base on large-format inkjet technology.
This agreement will be one-of-its-kind, since both the pioneers will provide total knowledge related to inkjet. TechNova’s expertise in large-format inkjet media and FLAAR’s technical expertise will bring about a new knowledge awareness in India. The concept of the joint agreement will cover input through output, due to the recognition that superior output is encouraged by a top quality input.
What is FLAAR?
Foundation for Latin American Anthropological Research
FLAAR tests digital imaging equipment, flatbed scanners and wide format printers world wide. The Japanese Ministry of Education funded the initial evaluations of digital imaging equipment. FLAAR began testing flatbed and 35mm slide scanners for Japan’s National Museum of Ethnology in Osaka about 1997. The FLAAR Digital Imaging Technology Center tests by using and by feedback from other people who use the equipment that they evaluate, not by artificial simulated situations. FLAAR itself has been involved in traditional medium format and large format photography for over three decades before going digital with the help of a grant of $100,000 from an American foundation.
