Premium high-performance fountain solution concentrate for sheet-fed offset printing machines.
Features
- Buffered to give a consistent pH reading in the range 4.2 ~ 5.2 when used with normal conditions of water.
- Not suitable for use with very hard water conditions.
- Compatible with alcohol damping systems.
- Maintains consistency of water requirement on the plate throughout the press run thus enabling consistency of print quality.
- Eliminate the need for gumming up the plate during press stoppages when used with anodized plates.
- Not recommended for water alkalinity above 150 ppm.
- May cause mild foaming when used with extremely soft water and/or high-speed circulation systems.
Instructions
The recommended dosing of 2% (20ml. per litre) adequately ensure the full benefits. Dilution may be optimized within the range of 2% ~ 3% (20ml. ~ 30ml.per litre) depending on usage conditions. For accurate dosing control of buffered fountain solutions, use of a conductivity meter is essential. Always ensure that the mixed fount solution is within ± 100 microsiemens of the pre-determined 2% mix. Thorough cleaning of the dosing, circulation and feeding systems with Fount System Cleaner is highly recommended prior to charging freshly mixed solution to ensure optimum tray life.
