Premium water miscible blanket and roller wash with in-built conditioner for complete wash-up and rejuvenation of the rubber surface.
Features
- High efficiency solvents to break down deposits of varnish, resin and pigments from the ink and hold them in suspension.
- Contains plasticisers, which penetrate the pores of the rubber surfaces to restore and maintain the resilience of the rubber, which are otherwise hampered during routine wash-up operation.
- Compatible for use with all types of offset blankets and rollers including polyurethane.
- Regular use vastly prolongs the life of blankets and rollers.
- Ensures minimal damage to most presensitised plate coating.
- Forms an efficient emulsion when mixed with water to enable single step cleaning of gum, lint, fluff and other water soluble glaze build-up.

Instructions
Blankets : Use for routine cleaning as well as for the final wash at the end of the day. Apply the concentrate solution with a damp cloth or sponge to dilute and remove the ink layer. For maintenance wash-up, pass few waste sheets after cutting off ink supply to remove excess ink. Apply and allow the solution to remain for 10 to 15 minutes. Remove the residues with a clean damp cloth or sponge. Follow-up with water application and wipe dry.
Inking rollers : Xtrawash is recommended for routine cleaning or as a final conditioning step after normal wash up. Apply concentrate wash from a squeeze bottle to loosen the ink film. Fix the gutter blades and apply Xtrawash pre-mixed with 15% ~ 30% water from a separate squeeze bottle to give a complete wash up to remove ink and water soluble material and to rejuvenate the rubber surfaces in one single operation. Use of separate squeeze bottles ensures controlled consumption and minimal skin contact.
Caution
Post wash-up application of plain water is recommended as a finishing step for complete removal of the residue. Unattended build-up of residue over a prolonged duration could cause ink transfer problems. Use of hand gloves or Pre-worx barrier cream is strongly recommended while handling petroleum hydrocarbon based press washes.
