General purpose, desensitising gum concentrate for universal application.
Features
- Readily soluble in water. The maximum recommended dilution
(1:4 with tap water) obtains 4 to 5°Be. gum solution. - Suitable for all plate types by varying the dilution.
- Not recommended as a finisher on presensitised aqueous negative plate before inking-in.
- Suitable for use as a plate room finishing gum as well as for preserving plates on the press.
- Very low cost-in-use.
Instructions
UltraGum can be diluted to suit specific requirements and economy. Apply sufficient quantity of suitably diluted solution on the plate after removing excess water. Buff down to a very fine layer using a fine lint-free cloth. Wet wash the plate prior to machine start-up. To prevent contamination and wastage, the prepared gum solution is best stored and used from a squeeze bottle.
