Instructions
Clean the plate surface thoroughly to remove all traces of printing ink and other residues. Ink-up the image areas of the plate using a non-drying ink such as NovaInk P. Rinse the plate with fresh water and Remove excess water. Remove the plate from the wet tray and place on a flat, dry, clean surface. Apply NovaKeepGum using a clean lint free cloth or cotton without loose fibres. Sponges are not suitable. Buff Down to a thin invisible layer using fresh lint free cloth. Fan dries the surface and covers the plate with an interleaving sheet of paper. For prolonged storage, the plate should be stored vertically away from moisture and sources of heat. Prior to re-use wet wash the plate thoroughly and apply fresh desensitising gum.
