Premium, heavy duty, emulsion cleaner-cum-scum remover for removal of severely engrained ink/scum from non-sensitised and baked presensitised plates.
Features
- Contains a mild abrasive.
- Ink solvency properties of the emulsion are reinforced by mild abrasive action
- Sufficiently thick and viscous to be used on localised application without spreading or running down the plate cylinder.
- Removes severely engrained ink and stubborn scum, especially on non-sensitised plates
- Desensitises the cleaned non-image area and prevent further scum.
- Not recommended for use on unbaked presensitised plate.
- Easily removed with water.
Instructions
Plate Cleaner HD is designed for heavy-duty cleaning and scum removal. It is compatible for use only on baked presensitised plates and non-sensitized plates. Shake the bottle well before use, and then apply the solution with a sponge in the affected areas. Wash off the residue with a damp sponge and continue printing.
Caution
Plate Cleaner HD should not be left on the image areas without buffing down for prolonged periods. Post cleaning water wash-up ensures best results. Excessive scrubbing could damage the image areas.
