DryGuard

Anti-skinning agent for on the press preservation of offset printing inks during prolonged press stoppages. Application from a spray bottle enables the use of DryGuard on blankets, ink duct and ink containers.

Instructions
Shake the container well before use. The plates on the machine should be gummed up prior to application of DryGuard.
Ink duct: Pour or spray sufficient quantity of DryGuard over the ink in the duct. During restart, thoroughly agitate the ink with the help of an ink knife to mix the residue.
Inking Rollers: Apply evenly on the rollers using a squeeze bottle or a spray gun and run-in the machine for a few revolutions to enable even coverage of DryGuard over the entire surface prior to stopping the machine. During restart run the machine for a few revolutions before charging the plate with ink.
Warning
Care should be taken to prevent DryGuard from coming in direct contact with the plate. Application of Dry Guard on plate could result into scumming problems.
