NovaJet Inkjet Matte Film Frequently Asked Questions
1. Why is it that we get an output that is slightly “Bluish” or “Violet” hue on some printers? The printers having “dye” based inks gives such outputs. NovaJet Inkjet Matte Film is manufactured considering property of ink that is used in maximum numbers of printers, i.e. pigment based ink. NovaJet Inkjet Matte Film is best compatible with pigment-based inks.
2. What is the difference between dye based inks and the pigment based inks?
Dye based inks are water-soluble and Pigment based inks have particles present in it.
3. How do I make correction on the out-put?
Corrections can be made on the drafting (reverse) side of the media.
4. The image has lines or faded areas. A.1 You are low on ink.
Choose “clean print head” on the printer software. If this does not help... I) Remove the cartridge from the printer according to printer manual. II) Using a damp cloth, gently press the print head. This should help ink to flow out of the cartridge. III) Return cartridge to printer.
You should choose “normal” or “best” quality.
