Creatas.com adds 17 photoshop-layered collections

Creatas.com, a provider of royalty-free photography, footage, and illustration, has added 17 Photoshop-layered collections to its on-line site. The first of its kind to be produced for royalty-free stock photography, according to Creatas, Digital Vision's Infinity Series is part of a new trend in the stock image industry of giving end-users more creative control. The CDs feature images constructed of separate, unflattened Photoshop layers, enabling users to manipulate, enhance or alter the original layers of the image. This feature offers users the potential to create thousands of unique illustrations from the same CD, Creatas says. Creatas.com offers two similar layered collections - Subliminal Data and LightForms - recently developed by Digital Vision for footage. Both permit manipulation of unrendered Adobe After Effects files.
