The Indian ad industry has increased its spend. The agencies have begun to invest in the latest innovations and technologies. Which is why, the timing was perfect for the premier edition of MediaExpo, 20-22 August 2005, Pragati Maidan, Delhi. The three-day exhibition offered visitors a wider reach into the consumer market at a lower cost. This included more than 110 companies who offered signage & pop, outdoor advertising, print & electronic media, printing / packaging & design.

For three days, Pragati Maidan was hub of activity with three shows : GiftsExpo, OfficeExpo & MediaExpo. The MediaExpo pavilion was, in turn, a hub for "large format printers" catering to indoor / outdoor signage.
The TechNova stall showcased the full spectrum of the NovaJet Large Format Media. The focus was on multiple applications and their newly launched media. Keeping in line with the theme, "Full Spectrum. Single Source", almost all important applications of the NovaJet range of media were prominently displayed at the TechNova stand.
Applications displayed included posters (NovaJet PhotoGloss PET Film 50 SA, NovaJet PhotoMatte PET Film 50 SA, NovaJet Matte Canvas 340, NovaJet PhotoSatin PET Film 50 SA), Backlit boxes displaying new media for backlits i.e. NovaJet Backlit FrontPrint PET Film 175 & NovaJet Reverse Print PET Film 130. Media were also displayed as rollers, to give the actual feel of the substrate to the customers.
Spring banners were used to demonstrate yet another new media (NovaJet PhotoSatin PET Film 175) which is specially designed with a stiffer base, to ensure no curling.
The live demos on the desktop Epson R310, at the TechNova stall, attracted hundreds of enquiries. The visitors appreciated the demo on NovaJet Artistic media & True Photo Gloss Paper. Besides compliments and accolades, the new Backlit Film & PhotoSatin PET Film 175, bagged several orders.
Corporate customers from Easy Bill from the Hero Group, BHEL , Neelkamal Furniture, Bikaneri Sweets etc showed a keen interest in TechNova media. Anil Bhot, General Manager (Marketing), DPM stated, "The entire objective of the exhibition was to establish close interaction with the end users. This was achieved, and TechNova was able to open new avenues for future possibilities. We came across corporates and print buyers from all industries. In addition, we had advertising agencies, graphic designers, interior designers, architects & display aid manufacturers inquiring about our media. Several visitors appreciated the layout of the stall."
