NovaJet Inkjet Backlit FrontPrint PET 175 (IJB 5307) is a polyester backlit, coated with a translucent matte ink-receptive layer for aqueous (dye & pigment) inkjet printing. It is suitable for indoor static applications such as backlit light boxes, LED frames, rota cubes and many more.

This media is compatible with original inks of most aqueous (dye & pigment) printers. Please consult the ink/printer manufacturer for technical advice if required.
Pre-test the compatibility of the inks with the media before commencing actual production.

Durability of Media
The durability of the printed image is dependent on the fading characteristics of the inks used. Please consult the ink manufacturer for technical advice.
If the printed graphics are likely to be exposed to corrosive liquids, smoke, fumes or a highly polluted atmosphere or if there is a likelihood of scratching or friction, it is strongly recommended that pigment inks are used for printing and that the prints are laminated with a UV stabilised vinyl lamination with a solvent-based adhesive.
This media, when printed with water-based pigment inks and protected as indicated above (with a laminate), can have an image life expectancy of up to 6 months.
Usage Instructions
It is recommended to condition the media in the normal printing environment for 24 hours before printing.
While printing, care must be taken to modify the print file to suit the ink limit of the media. For best results, please ensure proper colour calibration. For further assistance, please consult our HelpDesk.
The media should be printed on within the specified ink limit. Exceeding the ink limit can lead to longer drying time, bleeding, lower resolution and poor adhesion of the lamination media.
When sandwiched between clear and translucent acrylic sheets, ensure that the prints are completely dry and the panels are thoroughly cleaned.
Printed media should be thoroughly dried before rolling-up for transport to avoid ink smearing.
The inherent nature of the polyester calls for careful handling of the media to avoid fold and kink marks.
If the printed media needs to be laminated, we recommend using a cold lamination film. Pre-test the compatibility of the lamination film with the printed media prior to use. Please allow 8 hours of drying time of the print before lamination.
A fresh pair of cotton gloves should be used while handling the bare media to avoid sweat, grease and oil transfer on to the media that could interfere with the print quality.
When not in use, the media should be stored in its original packing in a vertical position.
