Recommended Printer Settings
Please refer your printer manufacturer user guide for instruction on printer settings and compatibility of media. Typically, printer manufacturers offer specific guidelines for the use of Heat Transfer Media. Use the printer manufacturers manual for recommended media selection and optimising products performance.
Handling & Storage Information
Hold the media by the edges. Be careful not to scuff or scratch the printing side.
Store the paper in a cool dry place and away from direct sunlight : 20-25oC at 50% relative humidity.
Ensure that blank media is always kept safely in the original packing.
Store the media flat, to avoid curling or warping.
Printing Guidelines
We highly recommend sufficient testing of the media in its intended application prior to use.
Temperature and humidity level can have a major impact on printing. All the printing stock should be conditioned while still in the original packing. To condition stock, store it in the same environment as the printer for 24 hours prior to printing.
While printing large number of copies, it is recommended to pass a few blank paper sheets after every 10-15 prints through the printer/copier to avoid static build-up and to avoid excess fuser oil deposition.
Post-print Care
The durability of the printed media is dependent on the fading characteristics of the inks used. Please consult the ink manufacturer for technical advice.
Stack your printouts with plain paper between the prints.
If you wish to laminate your print, a cold lamination process is recommended; in which case the print should be dried for a minimum of four hours. Ensure compatibility of the lamination film, prior to use.
