While printing care must be taken to modify the print file to suit the ink limit of the media.
The media should be printed with the specific ink limit.
To protect from handling abuse and scratches on print, the media should be protected by a cold, pressure sensitive laminate. The laminate must also be pre-tested for compatibility.
While printing the media with higher ink limit, it is recommended to dry the media with an external electrical fan or an IR heater.
Lamination
If you wish to laminate the imaged media, allow the ink to dry completely before lamination.
We recommend drying the prints for 8 hours after printing.
Pre-test the lamination film for suitability of desired application.
For best performance we recommend using TechNova's NovaSign range of cold lamination film available in satin and gloss finish.
