TechNova demonstrated its full range of software solutions at its Pamex stall, ranging from complete prepress workflows, security printing applications and introduced for the first time, software solutions for packaging printing.

TechNova showcased Agfa’s Apogee Workflow Suite that will assist customers in addressing the emergence of multi-faceted requirements of a hybrid printing market comprising of both digital and offset.

Also being show-cased at the show, was Agfa’s security software, :Fortuna, which is the right tool for customers who would like to protect their products from counterfeiters. :Fortuna is a modular design and assembly system which is the standard and first choice in qualified security markets : Fortuna implements security in design which allows the user full control over their security level. Fortuna is completely modular and offers a range of more than 30 different modules which can be built according to market needs.

One of the most popular software solutions at the TechNova stall, however, was the Phoenix Step & Repeat Packaging Software from Tilia Labs, Canada. Although, internationally, this software was launched in April 2013, it made its Indian debut at PAMEX under the TechNova banner. Phoenix is being co-branded and marketed by TechNova in India and SAARC countries. Open-ended approach, feature richness, intuitively designed artboard makes Phoenix unique while it helps customers deliver jobs with precision and ease.

The software is aimed at providing an affordable software solution to packaging printers engaged in printing of cartons and labels using offset and flexo technologies. Phoenix aims at helping packaging printers reduce costs and eliminate errors with the use of a wide array of intuitive and automated tools.

It allows printers achieve an unprecedented level of efficiency, control and up-to-date cost analysis using a simple, modern interface designed for both Mac and Windows. Phoenix accepts almost all packaging industry standard file formats and integrates with most workflows via industry standard pdf and jdf.
